How Does it Work?
Lasers emit a powerful beam of light that is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicles. The laser pulses for a fraction of a second, just long enough to vaporize the pigment while minimizing damage to the skin. The hair follicles absorb the laser energy impairing the ability to grow new hair.

Am I A Candidate?
Because it can be difficult to predict who will respond to laser treatment, we offer a free consultation and patch test to give us a better idea if laser hair removal is right for you.

How Many Treatments Will  I Need?
The number of treatments required depends on skin, hair color, density, and coarseness of the hair, as well as the area being treated.   Normally, a series of three to five treatments, scheduled four to six weeks apart gives clients the results they desire.

Will My Insurance Pay for the Treatment? Currently, insurance companies do not cover laser hair removal since it is considered a  cosmetic procedure.

Is The Treatment Painful?
This varies from person to person, depending on their sensitivity. But generally laser hair removal is not more painful than waxing - the sensation is just different. We also offer the capability of providing medically prescribed topical anesthetics.
