IPL Skin Rejuvenation & Resurfacing
Most people would like to keep a young and fresh look forever. This is not easy, as skin ages due to excessive sun exposure and decreased production of collagen. Exposure to the sun accelerates the aging process of the skin, and can cause disruption in the normal blood supply to the skin (which results in vascular disorders such as telangiectasias or diffuse redness). It can also cause irregular pigmentation that appears as freckles or age spots and irregular pore size.
Skin Rejuvenation treatment with EllipseIPL helps your skin look smoother by removing age spots and diffuse redness and by improving skin texture. Uneven pigmentation is also reduced. Many women report that it becomes easier to apply makeup. Facial treatments are most popular, but all parts of the body can be treated.

FAQs
How does Ellipse treatment work?
Ellipse treatment works by directing well-controlled pulses of light into the upper skin layer. The light is absorbed by two of the body's own natural chemicals - melanin in the pigmented areas and hemoglobin in the red blood.
Both these pigments convert the light energy into heat. This heat is used to destroy the parts of the cells in which the melanin is stored, and to damage the walls of the vessels supplying blood to the areas where vascular damage is seen.
The visible light produced by the Ellipse are carefully controlled to produce the correct pulse length and right amount of energy to destroy the targets without damaging surrounding tissues.
The Ellipse Light Skin Rejuvenation treatment will treat diffuse redness and pigmented disorders caused by sun-damage and also improve the skin texture.
Skin Rejuvenation treatments are quick and simple and do not interfere with your
normal daily routine. Both are aimed at repairing sun-damage found on the face, neck, chest, and hands.
Can I be treated?
As skin rejuvenation is based on light absorption by melanin and hemoglobin, treatments are most effective in patients with light skin who are not sun-tanned at the time of the treatment. However, Ellipse IPL has pre-programmed settings for different skin colors that deliver the correct energy output for your complexion.
Does it hurt?
Tolerance of pain varies from person to person. No anesthetics are required, and many patients describe it as a warming sensation similar to the feeling one has after a day on the beach.
What can I expect after treatment?
You may notice the skin looks a little “discolored” for a few days following treatment. After that, you will find that your skin looks smoother and fresher. Furthermore, it is recommended to use a sunblock which blocks UVA and UVB (minimum SPF 30) for a few weeks following treatment.
You might choose to have one or two annual maintenance treatments in order to keep your youthful appearance.
